So, a patient walked into our office and asked the receptionist for his "autopsy report." Shocked, Gayle said, "well now, it may be a while, not so sure when we will have that ready, you're gonna have to wait on that one" (all said with her kind & gentle smile, of course).
Thinking that the wait was because of having so many patients in the lobby, he said "well, you can just mail it to me then, whenever you have time."
Once we confirmed that it was his "pathology report" that he was needing.......we were able to make a copy and send it with that nice patient, having to wait only 5 minutes....while having a cup of our coffee and being thankful to be alive. He left with a chuckle for his day (and ours!)
Moral of the story: Be careful what you ask for.....you may just get it!
Enjoy your weekend.......I'm GLADYS FRIDAY.....aren't you?
